This course uses roads approved by the government for use by cyles and risks are those encountered in everyday use.
At the start riders may congregate waiting to start so a sign should be placed warning drivers approaching from behind the riders that a cycle event is in progress.

Notes. The course is all on B4449. . The meeting point for club events is the Standlake Arena, about 1 mile south of the start. No parking in Hardwick village. The course is available from 18.30 on weekdays and at weekends. An HQ for open events is available at Ducklington Village Hall about 2 miles north of the start. (OS ref 359076). Details: Bookings should be made with Mrs. Faith Truran, The Old Farm House, 7 Church Street, Ducklington, OX29 7UA. Telephone number 01993 708645 (call before 9pm please.) The hall would be available on Saturday afternoons at a present charge of £15 for the session. On Sunday mornings only the first Sunday in the month will be free as the other Sundays are used for Sunday school. The alternative is the village hall at Standlake, about 2 miles to the south of the start.
